Truly Tree House

Wilkinson Residence
Architect, artist, magician, Robert Harvey Oshatz is all of that and so much more. He is the organic architect responsible for this magnificent home up in the canopy; the coolest house in the trees that you will likely ever see. The unique Wilkinson Residence graces the wooded landscape outside of Portland, Oregon. This treehouse would turn even the Swiss Family Robinson green with envy. More than likely you too will have a more than a twinge of desire to live in it. (Link | Via)

Spider's Leg Tree house
We're no strangers to Germany's tree house makers extraordinaire Baumraum, so when we saw another brilliant arboreal home design from them, we knew we had to share it with you! The house resides at World of Living , a showspace/amusement park for sustainable housing company WeberHaus and greets visitors with its curvy body perched atop super skinny spider-like "legs". The unusual shape and clean lines are Baumraum's signature, and there are a lot of other cool features, so check them all out in our slide show. (Link | Via)

Text Potraits by Juan Osborne

It is said a picture is worth a thousand words and in the case of Spanish amateur artist Juan Osborne that is literally how things stand. Each of the images in this gallery is made of up up to 200,000 words of varying lengths, heights and colors. Amateur Spanish artist Juan Osborne scours speeches, lyrics and books for the words associated with his subjects. By using color he achieves amazing results especially with paintings reproductions whilst he manages to highlight or even give different shape when needed by using different letter fonts.

Coffee Time by Egor N

Photographed by Egor N, Coffee Time is a stunning, gravity-defying photo series that certainly peaks your imagination and shows us moments that we hardly notice in life. Filled with swirls, pours, sugar lumps and more. This series of high speed photography perfectly capturing the beauty of splashes and sprays of milk. Besides the questions about the laws of gravitation and how many cups were broken during the process, I really wonder why “coffee time”? Since I only see the splash of milk anyway, is it more appropriate to call it “Milk Time”? [source]
